Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

I just finished the second book in the Hunger Games trilogy! Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins was great! I read the Hunger Games years ago when it first came out and thought it was just okay. I couldn't get around the fact that it was a children's book about kids killing kids. I actually swore that I would not read the next few books.
My husband came home from work a few weeks ago with The Hunger Games movie, and after some protest, i decide to watch it with him. I had to stop thinking of the book/movie as a story for children and really just watch the move. I loved it! I may have liked the movie more than the book!
So i decided to get Catching Fire from my local library and from page one I couldn't put it down. I loved this book and have started to get attached to the characters. I am team Peeta for sure! Due to the cliffhanger at the end of this book I've already purchased the 3 book on my kindle and cannot wait to start it this weekend!
I give Catching Fire 5 out of 5 stars!
